Full-time HVAC Commercial Sales Leader

at Oros-Connect Inc. in Toronto

In Canada, the company's Commercial Equipment focus is to provide design/build contracting services and aftermarket material support for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.


Reporting to the Area Manager, the Commercial Equipment Sales Leader will be based at the Ontario District in Toronto. Reporting to the position will be 10-15 direct sales reports and 20 indirect reports through 3-4 leaders (team is sales and fulfillment). The objective for the Commercial Equipment Sales Leader will be to drive and achieve significant commercial sales growth for the commercial line of products.

Develop overall commercial business by developing relationships with customers (mechanical contractors and consulting engineers) and working with the sales team to empower and lead.


•Overall responsibility for customer and district sales management, customer satisfaction, price management, maximizing account penetration, and customer retention.
•Assist Account Managers in qualifying opportunities and drive pipeline management of opportunities to facilitate success of meeting financial plans.
•Utilizing tools, work with Account Managers and Account Team Leaders to establish required skill sets, talents, development opportunities and capabilities.
•Responsible for the overall profitability (P&L) of this part of the business.
•Required to interact with the contracting and Service sales managers to ensure smooth hand off of projects to the project fulfillment processes.
•Conducts performance appraisals in concert with team
•Establishes sales compensation plans within company guidelines.

•Experienced leader in the HVAC industry, with the majority of your 10 plus years of experience in the Commercial market. You'll bring your expert knowledge, network of consultants and contractors.
•Accountable for sales to decision makers, including but not limited to owners, contractors, architects, and consulting engineers.
•Effectively present and communicate proposals.
•Negotiate and close orders.
•Project management, expediting, problem solving.
•Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitor's products and pricing.
•Act as a liaison between the customer and internal resources and manufacturers.
•Cultivate relationships, managing customer relations and seek out new sales opportunities through networking and referrals.
•Ability to learn and apply the consultative sales process to develop a keen understanding of the customer's systems, business and needs.
